ok, so i have a 2000 honda civic, i run 100w hyper whites, have been for about 3 years now, and just last night, my passenger side bulb quit, when i went to change it, the harness that plugs into the bulb is black/corroded, almost burnt looking, what is this? i get moisture in that headlight sometimes also, could this be the problem?

looks like over time the high amount of current through the harness has burned out the plugs someone correct me please if im wrong

^^^ Most likely the problem. You are gonna have to replace your harness.

yup... i velieve our stock headlights are only 55w or so, so if youre nearly doubling the wattage, youll get problems over time

Electric current = Heat...so doubling the wattage means more flow = more heat.. and there goes the harness
