wiring amps to subs
if a subwoofer is dvc, cud u have two amps hooked up to one sub, each amp for each coil? for instance, i have 800w amps at 2 ohms, and cud i hook each one up to a coil in any dvc sub at 2 ohms? i wud just need two terminal cups or wutever on the box, i think this is correct if someone cud verify this. thanks

of course u can, but i don't recommed it unless u know what u are doing. All of the spl pros use more amps than subs. The mtx RFL van uses (8) 1000 d's on (4) RFL's.
But in ur instance, ur sub must be dual 2ohm to work. What sub u have that u wanna juice it with 1600 watts. I don't recommend it in ur situation.

you can run 2 amps per voice coil with the right amps and setup.
