Blown turn signal fuse.. how!?

I was about to put in a pair of these new 12 LED bulbs for my turn signals in the back when I discovered my signals didn't work at all, went right to the fuse and it deffinately blew so I changed it and they work now. I replaced all bulbs except for my reverse and headlights with LED bulbs of the same size in the past, and when I put the LED's in the front for turn signals it made them go hyper but they worked fine for the past 9 days atleast, and now today.. blown fuse. For obvious reasons I'm going to hold off putting the final peices of my LED bulb replacement puzzle in until I can get some answers on why it happened and only to my turn signals.. so could anyone please advise me on might've did this? Obviously replacing almost ALL your bulbs with LED's might cause some problems but it shouldn't matter right? I swear to god they worked fine going to school today too. Well any info would be really apperciated. Thanks fellas.

If you can check all the wires coming out of all the plugs for the turn signal bulbs, it's probably just due to a wire shorting or something of that nature, and I can only imagine if it is, then you would be able to notice it. The best thing to do would be to trace all the wires to find the problem, but that would be impossible, or very frustrating at the least.

Just check those wires, or if they are working fine, and the turn signal fuse isn't connected to anything else, then just stick a bigger fuse in it, I would probably due this, though I don't suggest it, I'm just really lazy.

I feel it may be something to do with the resistor not being the right ohm. I had the problem where if I used a higher ohm, the lights would get dim, but at a lower ohm, they would get brighter. I had to use a 470 Ohm 1/8 watt 5% resistor to get my LED's to work correctly and have the right luminous, without blowing fuses. That is my experience through this. Hope any of this works for you. Got my resistors from Circuit Specialist: http://www.cir.com/
