Need Help Fast! Inverter ?

I got a 350watt inverter for my xbox, that didn't work, it's too underpowered. Does anybodyhave an xbox in their ride or know how much I need? The only other thing i saw in stores was a 400 watt, but i dont wanna get that and have it not work again. Need replies quick

a 350 should work... how do you know its underpowered?

cuz AMS Car Stereo told me so = ) j/k, cause it wouldn't power up. I'm gonna try a 400 watt, maybe just the power inverter i got was garbage

the xbox wont power up (i was too lazy to do the install do i had them do it) i guess. its hooked up through the cig lighter i believe, but its eventually going to be grounded and powered. If it doesnt power from the cig lighter (even though the ps2 and dreamcast did), should i clip the end and power/ground it myself and THEN see if it'll work? I would figure it would since the power is coming from the battery itself (optima battery BTW)
