Question problem wit sound system

ok when i first got my system installed, one sub hit harder than the other one and the amp or something would keeep cutting off and i would hear this weird static and grinding noise whenever i turn or step on the gas. i took my car back to get it fixed and they said they jus put in the wrong fuse and a cheap fuse holder. they said they fixed it and when i got it back they worked fine. now it's starting to have problems again. this morning when i was coming to work, i heard this weird sound that kinda sounded like my sub or something was blown but when i looked at the subs they were fine. but now the amp or something is starting to cut off again. it would sometimes miss beats and stuff. i know amps can overheat but i didnt even listen to it for more than 40 mins. does anyone know what's wrong wit my systeM? thanx

Could be anything, things i would check

1.RCA wires
2. Ground wire for you amp
3. What kind of OHM load are you giving your amp?
4. Is your amp hot?
5. Possible head unit problem, Maybe a blown RCA output
6. Quality of your amp. Is it a Legacy, Pyramid? If so that could be your problem
7. Check the Sub connections inside the box. Maybe you had 1 sub ran in 8 ohm, and the other run at 4 ohms (for your 1 sub louder than the other)
8. I really dont think changing the fuse helped you, unless your previous one was covered in acid from your battery
9. Not all the time will you be able to "look at your sub and see a problem"

These are just some things i would check. Good luck!

Drive to New Hampshire on Friday and i'll take a look.

Just take it back to the shop, they should fix whatever the problem is since they installed it.
