Alarm Extras

I have a Clifford Arrow 5 installed.

I'm looking into a few extra features, such as the trunk pop, window rolldown, tilt sensor, etc.

If anyone has any of the extra stuff installed (not just for my alarm, but for any), it would be good to know if it works well or not. I ask this because the place I got the Arrow 5 installed (which does great custom work and who I know personally) told me that our 7th Gen Civics have a problem with the remote trunk pop and about something that gets loose and needs to be constantly realigned for the trunk to shut properly and thus is not a good option to add?

i have a clifford matrix rs 3. and it is the best. it comes with remote start and security system. i bought the motion sensor for it so it keeps people away. they installed it right under the center console. u can set how high you want the perimiter to be on the outside and the inside of the car. i would recommend u get that over anything else.

the window rollup and rolldown is quite easy and works pretty well. find out if you have 2 extra channels that are set at validity (signal is sent as long as you hold the button down), and i'll teach you how to make your own window kit. that will only cost you like 10-15 bucks

ive had no problems with my trunk pop, it was the first accessory ive added, too.

seriously trust yrou installers for door pops, out of anything and everything I've installed, door pops were the most difficult, and still I iron out issues as i see them. very difficult!

sensors are a snap, they wire right in and you are done.

remote start is a snap too, if you dont have a manual. and its simple if you DO have a manual, its jsut not idiot proof, which is my guess why shops choose not to do it.

i have trunk pop and it works fine. window automation is awesome and well worth what i paid for it, dei's window automation will crack your windows, roll them all the way down, roll them all the way up, and also gives you one touch UP and DOWN on both windows! Very well worth the money if you ask me. and now that i have remote start, i cant believe i didnt get it sooner, because i use it constantly, and now i never have to get into a hot or cold car, ever!
