Speaker wiring issue - adding 6x9's under rearseats
Hi All,
I have a 2006 civic hatch (exi). Sound system is very poor (zero bass).
I don't want to go with amps and subs and thought of adding boxed 6x9's (Pioneer 4 ways) under the rear seats.
I just want to wire them up to the existing rear speakers wiring.
Problem is how do I get to the wiring to latch onto them?
I know which wires are the rear speaker wires based on various posts and I have checked with my cars wiring.
Any suggestions welcome, I want to join the 6x9's wiring to each rear door's wiring and then just run the wires under the rear carpet.
I am hoping that the 6x9 will improve on the sound quality. I do not want to put them in the rear doors and cut to fit, etc.
Thanks.
