Water Getting into the engine with a CAI
i have a 03 civic ex (auto) theres not much i can do to it but i thought that a CAI would be cool cause it gives a nice sound and give a 4-6hp boost.

This is the wrong forum for this. I don't think water will get into your engine unless the whole filter is submerged. It can get in the filter, but I doubt it will suck it up. I get water in my filter from highway driving in the rain. It makes the worst noise, but never has sucked it up into the engine... and that's with an SRI which would suck up water easier because of the shorter distance. I just push in the clutch and let it drain though. But, if you want the CAI, just go with it... you won't have a problem.
