Is the REVO short shifter for the 2001 civic any good? Anyone have one who can tell me about it? Also where is the cheapest place to get one?

or if you win the auction without buying it now, on ebay, you could get one for (79.99+15.00) 94.99 shipped! lololol
revo ss is a real good shifter- replaces the whole damn thing and shortens not only the pull but the level of the shifter, very good item to have.

looks good. feels good.
although the feel will go away after awhile.. cuz u get use to it eventually.
I have an OBX short shifter.. but its the same thing, they copied revo's design.
my bushings compliments the short shifter better too.
I'll post another pic comparing the height difference.

tada. its like an inch and half shorter?
you can see the aluminum bushings on the short shifter... the silver pieces.
and before anyone ask, the **** above is the RSX base ****. yes I know it looks nicer than the stock's. it makes it even shorter!

I was just about to ask about that ****. Ok since its RSX, I'll be cheap for the moment and I'll ask cheap question...where can I get it for cheap ?
And Yoda, I just order your upgrade bushings for OBX/Revo (like 10 min ago). All I need is that **** and short shifter. Any hook ups ?

ooh cool thanks for the order. I'll have it ship out tomorrow morning.
try going to www.clubrsx.com and post a WANTED RSX BASE **** in the wanted forum... dont pay for more than 25 shipped. 20 bucks plus shipping is the price around these days.
I HAD an OBX short shifter for 65 shipped but no one took the offer till recently, so yeah..
check on ebay. sometimes u can get the OBX short shifter for dirt cheap.. like 50-60 shipped. sometimes its 70 ish.
just type "01 civic short shifter" or "01 civic shifter"

i think revo has better built quality... ie: u have a better chance of getting one that wasn't welded on perfectly with the OBX than the Revo.
the only difference IMO is the bracket part.. the rest are the same.. can't screw up plastic molding really.
I think the Revos have a better weld job... but otherwise its really the same deal.
its up to you, if u want to spend 30-40 more bucks on something thats the very similiar.
