I just installed the K&n gen II FIPK on my 02 lx 5 spd. it went fine and it runs good, but I hear whistling sounds in 2nd and 3rd gear, I called K&n and they said air must be leaking, check the connections. Has anyone had this problem? does the intake whistle even when the connections are tight? I think it's leaking where the pipe connects to the throttle body, i believe the breather hose is too long and it pushes the pipe and does not give a flush connection....advice please

I had that problem when I installed mine. Turns out the air filter was not completely attached.
