msd ignition????

just had a question for you guys and girls!would an msd ignition system do any good for our car!my boyfriend had bought one for his eclipse but never used it !if i put it on my car what would i get out of it!

well i tried having him explain what it did and it didnt sound like he knew what he was talking about!i didnt think it would do much. the only thing i remember was that you can adjust the timing for shifting or something like that!
