rods n high compression pistons

Was wonderin bout them crowelrods and high compression pistons. Lookin into tuning the engine, no FI. Crowelrods seem like an option, what about pistons? where to get pistons? and what kind should I be lookin at for maximum gain?

Would i have to mess with the block or can i just chuck the rods n pistons in w/o boring? Heard that there is always a chance that doing something like that will mess up your engine, what the likely hood?

anyone out there already got rods n high compression pistons on a NA engine? post your experiences! feedback! anything!

There are so many parts you would need that arent available right now, you'd be doing a custom job. No one makes pistons, no one makes a replacement valve train, intake manifold, camshafts, head gasket, etc..... That you would need to do the job right... and even if you pulled it off, you might end up equaling the power of a K20A2. So why not just save the trouble and swap in 200 HP? It would probably come out cheaper than custom making everything.
