Photos: Catz HID 4500K High/Low Kit
Those are in the stock headlights which use H4. I don't know what projectors use, but they're not H4. And there wouldn't be a need for the high/low beam kit in the projectors since they have dedicated low and high headlights.
A new pic. Found an empty wall at the side of a Wal-mart to take these beam pattern pics. This clearly shows the low and high beams of the Catz HID dual-beam kit in stock headlight housings.
nice, lookin good. I'm looking to get a kit but i think i'm just gonna get the sinle low beam and not the dual. Do you think i should go for the dual, i don't really see it being worth the extra money.
It's really up to you. If you think high beams are important for you and you do a bit of driving in the country side then it might be important because low beams technically are not supposed to reach that far forward. And sometimes on dark country roads with no lighting, you can end up over driving your headlights and not getting enough reaction time.
$599 at Liteswap.com with a 10% discount for 7thgencivic.com, bringing the total to $540.
The single beam HID kit is $100 less. Speak to Eric (info@liteswap.com) about it and mention that Kevin mentioned Liteswap to you.

I have the Katz 4500 low beams only. The thing I miss is not being able to flash when passing or signalling someone or whatever. I can comfotably drive on the big highways at 80 to 85 mph with the low beams. However, if buying again, I'd get the hi-lo.
ok they are brighter, but i didn't have to spend Alot of money to get the same brightness...i just bought 5k xenon bulbs....mabye im wrong ill go look at my garage with the lights on
Sorry, but I tried a bunch of bulbs. They may have the color temp, but they don't light up the road anything near to HID. Trust me on that.
The best way to tell is out on a curvy blacktop road with no lines painted on it.

Yeah I will agree like here in OR its starts raining which is almost all the time and on blacktop the visibility is horrible. So yeah this is my next mod most definately with the highs and lows.
