AEM CAI for EX AND LX...? or both...or...huh?
i just got an AEM CAI.
however, i've noticed that there are apparently two different versions of teh AEM CAI. one for the EX and one for the LX. the one for the EX has two pipes that are more or less equal in length, looks wise. while the LX version has one long pipe. why is that though? i mean, the DIY on this website, shows the "EX version" of the AEM CAI being installed on an LX civic. while i still see an LX version of the AEM CAI in random pictures elsewhere with the long pipe.
if the EX version of the AEM CAI works for both the EX and LX trims, whats the point of the "LX version" of the intake?
by the way, the one i have is the "EX/LX version" with the two equal looking pipes. just like in the DIY.

diff. engine.
appearantly AEM may have actually research and develop their intake...
diff. engine with diff. power output at diff. rpm.
hence diff. tube length and size.
so they can control the amount of air and the velocity of air going in the engine...
if you have a EX you're probably better off with the EX version, and if you have the LX.. you're probably better off with the LX version.
you'll find that the SRI is diff. too.
