I searched this topic and didn't find anything, so no flaming
Anyone know if there is a front grill that looks like the rs grill w/ the honda symbol but NO "rs emblem"? Or if this emblem can be removed from the grill?

The RS is an emblem... glued with double sided tape.
If you remove it, you will see the plastic molding in the shape of a rectangle...so you're better off KEEPING the RS glued there.
I actually have pics of my grill without the emblem, but i'm wayyyy too lazy to upload them.

yah you could take it off but as others have said theres a plastic mold behind it. im going to buy the plain altezza grill and place some aftermarket red emblem on it
I gave my old grill to my friend. He just cut out the 2 ribs, fitted a mesh which he found in an auto shop, cleaned it up with body filler and sprayed it the color of his car. It looks OK and only cost a few dollars.

Thanks for the help, but I've got another ?... Should I paint the mesh in the (altezza) grill blue or just leave it black. Of coarse I will paint the trim blue. What do you guys think?
From what I've read here, most people only paint the border. I left my entire grill black. It all depends on how big you want the grill to look. Painting the lip will, of course make it look smaller.
If you paint the whole thing, then it really isn't going to show up much at a distance. IMHO
