Remote trunk release

Is it possible to have a remote trunk release installed on a 2k3 Civic with minimal difficulty?

Yes, I think someone on here has done it. Another member with a 4-door 7thgen hooked their trunk up so that they press a button an the trunk automatically lifts up to the open position. They press the button again and it automaticially closes. It was really sweet.

Ohmysac, a member here, had a DIY on this. Try searching under "trunk popper" I think. Or maybe search for topics by Ohmysac. Anyway, I just did it and it was easy as hell. I followed his DIY and bought the trunk popper off a 98 accord and it bolts right on. Then all you have to do is wire it to your alarm. I had mine wired when I got my alarm installed.

I don't have an alarm, just the standard keyless entry. Think it would work?
