I found this shift boot on ebay, it looks hella cool.linky

Anyone bought these yet, I want one but I dont want to get ripped off.

Also, how would you change the hand-brake boot, does the plastic come off or does this one just go on top of it?

I hate that big plastic thing on the hand-brake & I have always wanted to get rid of it, anyone done it yet?

EDIT: The website plays this really loud & annoying car reving sound when you play it so dont have your speakers turned up all the way at
3am like I did.

it does look cool, check the seller's rating and see if he has screwed other people in the past. It's really cheap 2, thats the only fishy thing about it.

the seller seems fine.

and the price seems okay.. I'm not sure if its real leather or not though..

the shift boot in my car is about the only leather I'll have in my cheap civic. lol.

and I think the plastic doesn't come off.. it might just be slipping on the hand break.. or at least thats what it looks like.

i may get it.. but eh.. 30 something bucks for shift boot? I can stitch it myself...

Ok I guess ill be getting one of these in the next couple of weeks, ill let u guys know how it works out. 30 bucks is alot for a shift boot, but its better than 50 for a momo . I dont think its leather, but I dont really care, u have no idea how much I hate the big plastic hand brake plus I suck at sewing.

Random question:
Has anyone seen an aftermarket, maybee leather, hand brake handle? Do they even exist? Id setle for a leather cover or something, but I really hate the plastic one, It looks & feels so cheap. Im trying to go for a leather steering wheel/shift ****/hand brake handle combo, for the "total driving experience"
