That is the cheapest place, Tornactive has them for $110

ROB - I have a question about your fog lights, are the lenses as fragile as the ones from ProCarPart.com?????

I got my fog lights from www.tornactice.com and they are awesome. They we shipped out fast and have good customer service. The lenses are glass so you do have to be careful. Other than that they are cool

anyone know what protective covering you can put over the oem style fogs so they aren't as easy to crack?

So again what is better then ProCarParts' version or TornActive's version or better yet am I better off getting the OEM version.

Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks.

The OEM fogs we sell are made from DEPO, who manufacturers awesome quality parts and products. The cover is glas so they look just oike OEM and have all hardware included!

Thanks

so far this is what ive been able to conclude between the three..

procarparts - 100 + shipping, fragile lens, doesnt come with cylinder metal light shield that tornactive provides, and minor installation problems?

tornactive - 104 shipped (with discount code), fragile lens

oem fog - anywhere from 200-300 i guess it depends on the site, i hear the lens is just as fragile? and it doesnt come with the switch,
but its easier to install because it plugs in directly in the engine bay..

this is the info ive collected over searching so hopefully its correct... hope it helps!

the OEM fog is same ..... fragile ...... i allready cracked mine and i bought another set for $150 shipped (OEM)
the one i bought came with all the wires and switch ...... but i dont use the wires and switch since i still have mine installed before

i heard that the OEM fog light is much better than OEM Style fog light, they said the OEM lighting is better than OEM Style ...... is it true??? that's why i change mine with the OEM

I just wanted to warn you guys that if anyone of you has an 02 civic, there is a need to modify the switch to get it to fit in sockets where the switches go under the center console. When I order my fogs from procarparts.com it stated that there would be some modification to make it fit, but I didn't think of it as being such an issue until I tried to put it on (took time but got it in *it doesn't look too clean though *. It seems to be a lot larger than the 02's switches... and I think all of the oem style foglights are the same, it doesn't matter if its from tornactive or procarparts since their all from the same company (depo) but I’m not sure. If anyone can correct me, please.

So where did you get it for that price... not a bad deal, mind sharing.

I've had both sets (OEM - OEM "style") and both are very fragile as far as the glass goes.

I bought mine from ProCarParts and the day I installed them, one of them cracked. I'm so pissed. I went to Honda to see if I can replace just the light units since I don't need everything else and it's $100 just for one, and I payed $69 for the entire kit. That's bull. So now I gotta buy a whole new kit just for one light. I just hope I have better luck this time arround.
But seriously, does anyone know if the OEM ones are better (the glass I mean) cuz it might be worth buying those once than buying from ProCarParts every 6 months. Also, the OEM ones don't come with a switch cuz they have a remote instead. They plug directly in the engine bay and you have a remote like for your radio to turn them on and off - something to get lost.

I don't think it's a remote. It's a switch that mounts on the left side under the steering wheel, where the sunroof controls would be if you had an Ex.

Does the model differs between the left-hand drive and the right-hand drive ones?

In Singapore, we drive RH drive.

I dun have OEM fog lights, I have some crazy blue lens ones. Trust me, they're freaking white and bright. Although it's probably not what you're looking for because it's more of a "driving light" than a "fog light". I always get hi-beamed for those two dinky lights. BTW, they are glass lens and I've had them for a year now and everything is fine. I paid $80 with tax Canadian for the set.

The oem replicas that Procarparts and Tornactive sell have RH drive instructions, but they work fine with LH drive models.

Yeah mine broke the same way, rocks hitting them. And I don't get people saying to be careful... I mean how am I supposed to avoid stones I can't even see. I guess the best I can do is not sit behind a dumb truck on the highway, but it's all about luck.
Anyway, I'm still looking for my driver side fog which cracked and noone will sell just that, anyone know anywhere?
