projector headlights question

projector headlights question
i just got some projector headlights from a friend, and i have a question. to adjust the light's there are 3 screws in the back, they look like this

The x's represent the screw's to adjust the projector and the H is the headlight bulb. Question, how hard are they to adjust, and what directions do the move? I think one is left and right, the other is up and down, is the other one move it in a out?
