frame bar for 01 Civic and sedan radiator cover (pics)
just threw on a couple of things on my car.
the sedan radiator cover shown here on the altezza grill and bumper.
and the "performance rod" here...
here's what it is:

if you want more info on this bar... search in the suspension forum for: "oem part" there's a detailed thread about it there.
#10 is for auto
#11 (what I got) is for manuals
most 2001 Civics dont have this bar. some 2001 Civics have a 2nd hole drilled for the bar, consider yourself lucky and grab this bolt on bar.
all 2002+ Civics EXCEPT DX has this bar. DX owner, grab it.
If you want one, contact Greg @ www.hondawerx.com or ur local honda dealer... remember, if you want more info search for the other thread. Grey has already installed it on his car and drilled a 2nd hole for it.
see, I dont have a 2nd hole. I gotta drill my *** off (err... *cough*)
here's the rod across the engine bay... highlighted it and brighten it more so you can see it...

thats all for now. back to sleep I go.

i seperated the post. (bar in suspension) and radiator cover in tech
I thought I should have one here so the new guys can know about the parts and grab it.
i guess I should have just have them all in here. instead of seperating the posts..
oh well, the mods can delete it if they feel fit.

yeah I guess its a tie bar of a sort.
its listed as "performance rod" on majestic honda's parts list...
it wasn't in the 01s... honda decided to slap it on the 02s... its also on the RSX... i can imagine its meant to stiffen up the front frame a bit more.. and Grey noticed a reduce in wheel hop.
I just drove around today.. no difference that I can notice though.
