I've had PIAA, Cuzo Hyper Whites, Nokya, 2x MTEC, and Silverstars before I finally settled on my Metal Whites from lightingresearch.com. These are very white and do improve visibility quite a bit over stock. I was impressed with them because they were the whitest out of all the brands I tried before and/or did not break as fast, plus they also carry H11 bulbs as well for our OEM fogs. I've had mine for about a year and they're running strong. IMO, by far the worst was the PIAA's bad color, expensive, and didn't last long (less than 2 months), while the Cuzo's just had too much of a purple tinge, Nokya's and MTEC's just didn't last (3-4 months), and Silverstars were only marginally better than stock (only a little less yellow than stock, but still yellow). I've had the same headlight housing (DIY cleared w/ no moisture at all, triple silconed outside & doubled inside) and wiring harness when I used these bulbs, so I know it can't be that. I really believe these bulbs from lightingresearch.com are the best, especially if you want matching fogs too. Maybe some of the other brands (MTEC) I was just unlucky w/, but oh well I love these bulbs and highly recommend them. Here's how they look (I have the lightingresearch.com Metal Whites w/ stock wattage for my headlight and foglight bulbs, Hyper Industry Hiper Whites for my 194's, and PIAA Extreme Whites for my 7443's and all in for about a year now. I know mix and match, but its hard to find one brand that makes them all, they always either don't have the 7443 or H11's)...

Front/Overall (They match pretty good when looking directly at them...):

Closeup/Top (...but not from an extreme angle):

Sidemarker 194's (I love my white sidemarkers):

I got the Nokya's on mine. Supposed to get the White ones but they ****ed up and gave me Blue. I was pissed but i could tell the difference better than the stock ones. I hear that the PIAA's are pretty damn good but dunno.

I've got Showoff Kryptons on my ride since last August. Love them - nice and bright, no harness/plug damage, and no cop hassle.
