I have the stock boot (type R off ebay soon, I'm too ghetto), and the OBX Type-R-style ****. The boot kept falling down and exposing the shift lever, so I just wrapped some elastic on there and crammed the stock boot collar on top of it. It hasn't moved in months, but I anticipate the same problem you are having when I get a new boot. Just get a rubber grommet onto the lever, underneath the metal ring on the top of the boot and that should hold it up fine.
I had the exact same problem that you had with the type r **** no longer than a coupe of days ago. What I did, which was suggested in various searches - I wont preach - is that you take electrical tape and wrap it around the shifter pole where you want the boot to stop at. For me it was almost right under the nut that came aong with the shifter. you want the tape to be just as big as the shift boots opening so it will fit snug. Worked for me. electric tape at radio shack - 69 cents..

another way to solve this problem is to take apart your center console, to get to the inside of the shift boot. then cut the zip-tie holding the plastic ring (that was originally connected to the shift ****) onto the boot. this will make the boot even more loose at the top, but the ring isn't there to weigh it down. if this doesn't satisfy your needs yet, you can just use another zip-tie (without the silver ring) to secure the boot neck to the top of the shift lever. IMO, this gives it a clean look, as opposed to having a loose silver ring.
and to answer your original question, there is no aftermarket shift boots available for our cars (except for those carbon fiber ones on ebay, but i'd stick with the stock shift boot). if you are going for that type-r shifter look, you can add red stitching to the boot (easier to do if you take apart the center console). i added red stitching to mine and made a matching leather e-brake boot because i plan to add black leather interior w/red stitching to my car in the near future. trust me, looks good. here's a link to how to do it:

No aftermarket shift boots huh? Gee... I've got a MOMO boot in my car and that's an aftermarket product. Any universal boot will fit if you trace and cut the tabs that are on the bottom of the stock boot onto the new one. Some of the universals have velcro tops to they can be used with any **** and others screw in to the threads for the **** finisher on the bottom of the shift ****. I also know this for sure... the MOMO Performance boot can be used with any Honda Factory **** because the threaded ring for the Momo ***** can also be used to lock the clips on the bottom of the Honda *****.
