Rep Power: 0 Canadian Acura 1.7 EL Rear End Conversion...
How many of you would be interested in a Canadian 1.7 El rear end conversion? This would consist of the inner and outter tail lights, trunk lid and bumper. Because I am located in Toronto Ontario i was wondering if enough people show interest I would be willing to either sell the "Straight from the factory" conversion kit meaning everything new or sell a "Used kit" witch would be a complete kit taken off a 1.7 El, possibly from a Junk yark (Cheaper) But I would ensure that all parts are in great condition unless otherwise stated. The buyer will be shown pics of the items before the items are shipped! Don't wanna **** anybody off! I will be going to the acura dealership tommorow to get final prices on the "Straight from the factory kit" also I will be calling up a few wrekers to see what kind or availability and price they have... So Anybody interested?
P.S: If you would like any other pieces from an E.L Pm me and I will see what I can do!

Rep Power: 0 I was always fond of that front end on the EL.
I wonder if someone's willing to cut up our front bumper to stick those front lights in! Be a great DIY!
but truthfully speaking, im guessing that front bumper and parts will be a lot more costly than anything!
lol

Rep Power: 0 If you want the headlight conversion you can either modify the stock civic bumper and fenders or buy a whole new front clip. This headlights are very similar but some modification has to be done... I might do the headlight conversion after I install my turbo...

Rep Power: 344 1.7EL rules. Too bad the only MAJOR difference is the extra sound insulation and trim. That just means I can't hear the hamsters that well as they run in that little wheel under the hood.

Rep Power: 0 don't forget, you need a new auto trunk release, and new remotes, maybe a new keyless "brain" because the trunk has no keyhole. only a button on the remote. dunno if anybody noticed that.

Rep Power: 0 I got prices straight from the factory:
Trunk Lid: 569.25
Bumper: 299.00
Tail lights:-Inner: 126.50
-Outer: 172.50
Total: $1167.25
I never said it was cheap... But you would be one of a handfull with the converion! Now this conversion consist of everything you need, the only thing is you must open the trunk from inside the car because there is no keywhole in the trunk lid. If you wanted to you can get a remote trunk opener from Acura, it's up to you. Now I am still trying to locate trunk lids and bumpers from scrap yards... Pm me if you are interested. Thanks!

Rep Power: 0 I want that front bumper for my coupe. I love the look of the Acura grilles. Would something like that be possible? I know the coupe and sedan have slight differences...
