if you wanna jenny craig your car.......fiberglass is the way to go.....

but for bodykits in fiberglass....not recommended....

when u drive on roads....the rocks will leave permanent marks...even more noticeable on dark color cars.....

just go wit ABS material or someting to that matter...

Yeah, fiberglass is very light. That's one advantage. It does crack if you run into something and it tends to fit a little less than perfect. Urethane, or ABS, or any other plastic is superior IMO. Although bodykit manufacturer's don't really care about weight when they make urehtane kits, so they tend to be overly heavy. My front bumper (Tsunami) is 1/4" thick urethane throughout with no structural supports. Very flexible and able to withstand many hits, but it's kinda heavy. I will be lightening mine with chemicals that eat through urethane. I'll block off a triangular support structure and eat through 1/8" of it on the inside. That should make it a little lighter.

ok listen. u buy a kit for 700 u paint it for 400 that = 1100 now i dont know about you but i wouldnt want to spend that much just to have it cracked and replaced. buy urethane or abs plastic kits. and make sure u use "FLEX" in the paint so the paint wont crack when the kit flexes. fiberglass is cheaper than urethane but once u crack it or break it its gonna cost a whole lot more than the urethane kit would cost in the first place. plus if u drive the car daily u deff want the strength of urethane.
