Question On Installing Parking Lights

I was about to put in new parking lights today. Do we need to remove the whole black covering around the wheel to get to it? Or can we just remove one screw and pull it so I can see the parking light bulbs? THanks!

i say you should use the alarm DIY page for this wire. keeps everything clean.. and there is no need to run the wire through the firewall for parking light wire signal.
