I'm interested, but yeah I'd also enjoy two headlights. Maybe like a hood conversion or something where the lower grill area is or something. Oh, and what if bugs fly into that headlight? And how much?

btw, won't the frequent storms in the philippines pose a threat to the ram-air system you have? any by-pass valve of some-sort?
nywayz, where do you all race back in the pinas nowadays? when i was there, used to do it at sucat road (pretty stupid coz i nearly got myself killed deeym), white plains and places around alabang and greenhills... look for me next summer in an 8psi 96 accord vti here in canada, i'm stuck with my lil civic lxg... i miss the boost... and the fishballs haha

AS you can see man, there is a rubber thing that is between the ram air nd the SRI when storms comes we just disconnect the rubber thing to prevent water getting sucked in,it's that easy pare

street races are now held at libis, laguna and cavite, see ya next summer pare

like I asked before.. is there a filter there somewhere?
I thought u only used it when you go to the tracks or something. guess not.
not practical here but yeah.. neat.
btw that isn't a custom grill.. its just the altezza grill with the regular sedan radiator cover on it.. he has a sedan I believe. it fits perfectly.
I ordered the sedan radiator cover awhile ago, the altezza grill is designed and made in asia, and there's only sedan there...

I've seen several headlight intakes on cars that have 4 headlights and they put the intake where one of the brights goes. If you only have one headlight, then I guess you onlly drive in the daytime or get lots tickets.
But as far as Nuts' ram air goes, I don't see any pics of it on his rides page. It would be nice to know how he has all this hooked up.
Weapon R has some sort of intake extension that goes on their setup, but most of their stuff is junk, and I dunno if their "ram air' would even fit on another brand of intake.

back here(PHIL.) laws regarding cars aren't that strict
for filtering dirt we use a very fine mesh screen, our fiends that has RAM air's use those too
its been tested by racer's here in our country no problems at all

I suppose if you clean the screen often that would work. A flat screen will become clogged much sooner than a pleated filter.
I think a pre filter screen to keep out bugs and birds would be good, with a K&N type filter behind that.
I'm still trying to figure out how to put a ram intake like "stealth" somewhere that it won't show without a headlight removal or a ram air hood.
Climate also may make a difference. Like up north in the US really cold, damp air, rushing in could cause things to frost up.

for us the headlight is the best place for it
and it routes the air easily if climate is the problem you can simply disconnect the rubber thing when you dont want to use the ram air
