They have been compared to HID kits. How do you think they compare to them? I just wanna know cuz I already have Cuzo's in my car and they are mad bright. I want to get as close to HID as possible.

they look very bright in dry conditions, and looks as close to HID on the ground, but anyone had them in the rain? Are they good in the rain?

MangoEX: can u also post a pic of looking at the headlights headon if possible? I wanna see how white they actually look before I make my purchase. Thanks.

That's exactly what I want to know. Do they light up the road good when it rains? Stock bulbs suck in the rain and my Cuzo's are pretty good. But my Cuzo's aren't as bright as the Silverstars according to the pics posted. I don't know I'm not getting my Audi until the end of Jan so I need something to hold me over until I have the real HID's

Yes I like them... and how do I post pics w/o having to link them from my member ride's page? I have no host for them and tried uploading it, but was too big by about 30 kb. And i wouldnt thik they run hotter than stock cuz the wattage draw is the same.... hmmmm.... it is a mystery how the light is a bit sharper and crisper than stock.. notice the VERY sharp cutoff? almost like projector headlamps! its sharp with stock and sharper with the SSs.

When its raining? About the same as stock... you still cant see jack in the rain. Even when HID cars get next to me in the rain.. you still cant see ****... you need yellow yellow yellow bulbs if you want to seeanything...and even with that its crappy.

I went to buy some of those for my girl's 91 accord for christmas.......
The REALLY dumbasss sales f *CK tried to get me to buy APC.
I laughed at him. He said that they were better than the silvania.
Then I asked him if he was smoking rocks in the back. Then proceded to walk the f * ck outta there.

I bought mine at AutoZone for $19.99 each. If they don't have them in stock, just ask them to check their other stores or ask when their next shipment will come in.

You can also order it online at AutoBarn.com but they're selling them for $24.95 each.

I actually use APC H4 bulbs. They're not bad. Really bright white, no blue at all when on. My friends (who all drive fords, mind you.) have told me they look really good and not cheesy like most other HID wanna-be headlights.

I got Sylvaina Silver Stars at Auto Zone. If they don't have in stock, they can get them overnight from their warehouse. I tried PIAA, Cool Blues, Stock, and Catz and the Silver Stars are by far the best yet. I think they also work better in the rain than the others I tried. I have them hooked into the Catz system and running at 13.5 volts brightens them up a bit more too.

How long have you been using the SilverStars and the CATZ ZETA System together? How much did you spend for the CATZ ZETA System?
