Coilover rusted shut!!!!!
I have Ground Control Coilovers. I like them but when I went to raise my car for the winter the driver side rear was rusted shut. The allen wrench part with not move at all. I've tried WD-40 and everything. No luck. Do you think they will replace it????

try having a buddy help you out. have one person hold those "plier things" that unscrew the coil overs...and one person get 2 tubes that are1 - 2 feet long and stick one in each plier...and force it open. sorta like a torque wrench.

You should have grease up the threads before putting it on the car. That's pretty much the only way to prevent that from happening. Unless GC coilovers have chromed threads? I don't even know...

Anyhow, you could probably get it out using PB blaster which is way better than WD 40 and also get your hands on a torch, heat up the perch a little bit, but not the screw, and it should come right out, you could probably get by with just a small butane torch if you don't have a big one.

The exact same thing happened to me. The perch was stuck on the sleeve and wouldn't turn, and my tire was rubbing like crazy. I called up GC and they shipped a new coilover perch/sleeve free of charge (I originally bought my suspension setup directly from them).
Sucks that the coilover locked up, but big props to GC customer service for being really cool about it.

They sent me one coilover sleeve/perch free of charge. This is after they shipped me a special wrench when I complained that I couldn't turn the original perch. I'm not sure if they will ship you an entire set of four, but it wouldn't hurt to try.
