pure clear lense

pure clear lense
ok i have seen these tail lights on old civic, but i cant find them for my sedan, can anyone tell me were i can find them, and if not, how i can DIY them?

stop makin thos a while ago. they attrack attention just like Altezzas but would real good on our cars
especially the coupes.
some one in the forums is suppose to be workin on it and posted a pic about a week ago.
you can wait for them or try yourself[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/IMG]

I believe the main reason that they didn't make them for cars after a certain year is because DOT said that they were completely illegal, even with the right colored bulb in them and that they wouldn't give them DOT licenses for them anymore.

They are completely Illegal because there is no red reflector. If you want those kind of clear tails prepare to be stopped frequently and not pass inspection. You can't doa DIY unless you can have someone custom fabricate the plastic for you. All rear lenses are made out of red plastic.
Yep I love clear taillights had them on my 88 civic for like a year then got pulled over for them even with red lights he said they were illegal. But yeah I just put a piece of red tape over the clear reflector and he said they were fine [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG] but after time they look super fugly so I just took them off and went OEM again.
But it would be cool if they were legal I heard only one town around here considers them legal now versus the whole state a yr ago.
