why are you guys so interested in just posting stupid comments that have nothing to do with the thread!!! I am very interested in these new pillars and not one person has answers my questions!! If you don't have soemthing to relate to these pillars than please don't post because its very annoying reading through a thread of BS! Here are my questions again.
1) do these pillars come in factory matched interior colors or do we have to paint them?
2) what size guages do they hold?
3) where can I buy them and how much.
Lets keep on topic here folks!!!

most autometer pods are 2 1/16 ( i think ) and i'd really like to find out where we can get them. they should be about 30 for the dual not 50.
MAN, i shouldn't be giving this idea away, but hell i got a whole lot of ideas from you guys.
OK, if you want to save the money that you were gonna spend on those , from my opinion, disgusting looking gauge pods, ...
there is another solution. You dont have to paint, dont have to worry about size, and there is no shipping and handling charges.....
take a look at your glovebox....right above it is this flat panel (between pass. air bag, and glove box).
I took a look at it the other day, i opened my glove box and reached up instead of down, there is nothing on this panel.
You can cut out the circle for wutever size gauge you have and simply put it in. Or if you really wunt to look different, you can put a flat LCD monitor in there.

That's a good idea, but then you gotta look way over there to see your gauges. Or you could just ask the passenger
I like the gauges that go around the stock gauge cluster. Autometer needs to make one of those for our cars.

That Sucks kinda. Oh well, I had taken my pillar out and had 2 gauges pods fiberglassed in and also had it fitted for my Blitz Power Meter i-D.
But it only ran me for about 60.00 for the custom work.

summit racing can have them dropshipped for you rom autometer, it is $10.00 for 2 day air- I just got mine. It comes in dual or triple, black only and they hold 2-1/16" guages. The stacking height is a little off, the guages overlap a little to where they cover up the next one behind it, they could have spaced them a little more, but still pretty nice to have it installed. I went with electric carbon fiber face Air/Fuel, Voltometer and oil pressure since I am running N20. I paid $68.00 for the pillar and shipping. The guages were $40-55 range each. Propod also has a pillar available, but it is only a single or dual only.

Why do you even waste your time posting here, you have nothing useful to say... As for the purpose of the gauges, lets look at the current upgrades... So far, how many different companies offer turbo kits? How many members have a turbo on their ride? Also, how many people are running nitrous on their cars? How many people are going the NA way? Now, anyone of those upgrades warrants the use of a pillar gauge... But then again, not like you knew that...
Extra gauges are useful to monitor engine conidtions, which are useful during racing so you know how the engine is running. If you are running turbo or nitrous extra gauges are a must to meaure Boost levels, air to fuel ratio, oil pressure, etc. How did you get to be senior member, probably by posting BS... if you don't have something productive to say keep your mouth shut!
chefjnr:
Could you post some pics of the triple? I was thinking about doing the same cept with AC reverse EL voltmeter and oil pressure (to match my dash) and A/F meter.
Thanks!
