Dropping Car Question

for those of you who have the drop-- If I bought a set of coilovers and installed them, would the smoothness of the ride change- my buddy has a 99 integra thats dropped and if that car goes over a speed bump its alot rougher than my stock civic springs. What do u guys recommend as far as good springs that will get a got drop? thanx for the help

the smoothness of the ride will definitely go to ****....the lower the drop, the faster the ride will begin to suck. If you have money, get some new shocks and a camber kit.

If you do a Search, you will find much better info and more detailed then what i just provided.

a lowered car will never ride as smooth as stock. sleeved coilovers will usually ride worse then lowering springs. if you really care about the ride, get a set of aftermarket shocks. only shocks available now are koni yellows. n yes please search, theres a suspension forum filled with question and answers. the suspension faq is a great start

Ok, so what about if the drop is minimal with a set of progressive springs, intented for simply closing up that wheel gap? I dont think anyone ive talked to about less than a 2" drop have had any complaints about ride comfort.
