ok, i recently sold my aem cai and put my stock air intake back in....i will now compare the two

the stock air intake provides plenty of low end power, power is delivered smooth and evenly across the entire power band.
throttle response is less "snappy" w/ the stock air intake in

the aem cai feels that is looses slight low end power, but the high end gains are great, especially above 4k rpm, throttle response is much sharper.

the aem cai is considerbly louder then the stock setup, especialy under WOT, during cruising conditions, it is only slightly louder, although if the engine is under a large load (climbing a large hill w/ the a/c on) it does seem to drone.

although i was very happy w/ the aem cai, i needed to restore the low end power that i was lacking. i do a lot of city driving and the extra torque is needed. i also got a lil tired of the extra noise. my car w/ the stock intake and dc sports exhaust is just what i am looking for right now.....only a lil' louder then stock, but barely notice it is there when cruising.

i recently installed k&n fipk intake, i notice a gain in low end and even better gain in high end, i love the sound of it with magnaflow cat back, my friend also own a 2k1civic ex and he notice a sightly louder while crusing on highway around 130km/h, my exhaust is dead quite compare to the intake
