fiberglass or urethane

i'm buying a bodu now and i've decided to get the Octane kit. fiberglasss is about 600 bucks cheaper than urethane. this kit will me on forever so it'll probubly take some hits. if a fiberglass kit gets chiped or cracked should a body shop be able to fix it neatly? i know you can't fix urethane but whats your opinions. i've never driven a car with a kit before but next summer i'm gonna get air ride and drive with me car somewhat high to save the body for shows.

Urethane all the way. It will be able to take hits, if you get a full bumper it will even pop back into shape. Even though fiberglass is cheaper, you will save money in the long run going with Urethane.

take it from someone who's had fiberglass before, it sucks and bites the big one if your car is a daily driver. it will get punished and like a little biatch can't take the abuse. if you get fiberglass, welcome to the wonderful world of spidercracks

you wont regret it! i went through the same thing with my car. i debated whether i wanted to spend the extra cash and decided im gonna save for urethane why save money now so you can spend it later fixing the FG kit or replacing it with the urethane one you shudda bought in the first place

fiberglass is crap... i learned my lesson.. if you buy fiberglass, chances are you're gonna crack it and it's weird but i know a lot of people that buy fiberglass and keep buying fiberglass even though they cracked the previous ones...

Aerotrends has the octane kit in urethane for $875 for the whole kit. That's what I plan on buy since I just wrecked my civic.
