You're gunna need more than a new fuel pump to change our returnless fuel system. No fuel is reutnred back to the tank meaning it will all be used up.. Our stock pump is more than plenty to pump fuel, its just you're gunna need new fuel lines, ECU upgrade, new injectors, all kinds of stuff besides the pump...

im curious, if there was a way to control the fuel pump better then the stock ecu, or an upgraded pump for that matter, wouldnt the problem of the returnless system be eliminated? if we could send the exact amount of fuel needed to the motor at that sepecific time, then wouldnt that work?

Exactly! Actually, the ECU (ECM) does a very good job of delivering fuel. It controls the fuel pressure as well as the injector pulse width to produce the optimum spray pattern (from the fuel injectors) at any rpm. If we could just program the stock ECU (ECM) for upgraded injectors and an upgraded fuel pump and FPR (Fuel Pressure Regulator) then we'de have the fuel system problem solved.

Better yet, being able to control boost pressure via a boost controller and an external wastegate and being able to tune down the amount of fuel that's delivered would allow us a perfect control of light boost for cruising and high boost for racing. This is my goal with my turbo. I want it to be extremely usable. I don't want to buy something that only works at a certain horsepower setting.

Hopefully a company like Hondata will release all we need to do this sort of ECU (ECM) programming. I have my fingers crossed at least...

I believe so. It's a lot of money though. Probably worth it if you're dead serious about performance though.
