Vertical Door Kit??
Anyone know if there is a door kit to convert the doors on our cars. I would like to get that Lamborguini (sp?) look with the doors to swing upwards when you open them. Thanks for help!

platinum310 said he could get them custom done for $500 per door.
but ya dont really expect a kit, its usually a custom job

this has been covered. www.decah.net they are the company that makes the kit, however it is not out yet. if your mechanically & engineeringly inclined, you might be able to come up with your own kit, however it prolly wont function quite as well. give them time, they'll have a kit out in the next year or so for us.
Same reason you need a CAI, body kit, rims, bigger tires, tint or whatever else...you DON'T need it. As long as the dude isn't saying "hey i'm gonna get a 20+ hp gain from driving with my doors open" I don't see it as rice.
Nobody NEEDS anything they have done to their car, its a matter of taste and what they want. Everybody has a right to an opinion, as well as the right to be an a$$hole, but spare those of us on this forum who are looking to get answers to questions and not ridiculous flames or the catchphrase of the day (rice). I'd say grow up but I fear knowing your actual age might further lessen my outlook on "mature adults".

p.s. Now a Cavalier with an "Si" sticker? That's a whole 'nother issue. Unless I'm mistaken and Chevy is making an Si now

exactly, i dont see how having doors that open up as rice. everyone is so caught up with whats rice and what isnt. you flip the meanings and have turned anything that doesnt give you gains as rice. some people even consider any body kit rice. i mean wtf, what do you want to see at a car show then? stock cars with the only mods they have being engine mods? there's SHOW and theres GO. if your the type that goes for speed fine, just dont call things that are for SHOW rice. it aint like your going anywhere with your 7thgen. if your doing atleast 13s with a 7thgen aiite i'll give you props but i highly doubt anyone here is even doing 15s. only person is probably htown.
