easy install for lx headers?

easy install for lx headers?

i'm new to this site so if this question has already been asked sorry.. but is there a header that is specifically made for an lx coupe 5-speed taht doesn't require a lot of custom stuff. just one that i could bolt up in like an hr?

You should use the search button. Anyway there is no header that fit perfectly into a lx. You need a piggy back computer some some modification to make it work.

That's not true. The kamikaze header was made for the lx/dx. It does fit perfectly. Kamikaze just doesn't provide the necessary gaskets and hardware. You also don't need a piggy back computer. Unless you're referring to an O2 simulator ($45), which is needed in order to get your check engine light to go off. Not exactly what I would refer to as a piggy back computer.

Isn't there a way to extens the sensor into the hole, or is the problem that there isn't a hole for the second sensor?

You just have to splice into the O2 sensors and then lengthen them.

the o2 sensor is connected to a wiring harness... buy the wire harness extension and you can move the o2 sensor farther down...
kamikaze is a good header that'll fit... from what i've heard, hp has redesigned the headers and they will fit... i dunno... but don't take my word for it.. SEARCH homie
