Hey Everyone,

I know this might be a wierd question but i was wondering if there was any sort of aftermarket center console add-on for our cars because i reallllllllllly hate not having one. It was really stupid of Honda to not put one in, because i dont understand why previous gens get one and we dont!!!

any answers would help

ps- dont tell me to just get an armrest, because i tried and the dealer said they cant put it one because i drive a stick and im not about to make a hole in the seat myself.

I believe he's referring to a "center console" as the older consoles that had the armrest built into the center piece where the armrest is the lid of the storage compartment & It flips up & has the storage compartment underneath it. I had that in my 2000 Civic.

Not totally sure but you MIGHT be able to put an older console (like from a 2000) in your car, you'd have to check if it would fit but as far as an "add on" console piece for the 2001+ Civics, I doubt that anyone makes anything like what you're asking about.

Just buy the center arm rest, that way you can rest your arm on it and drive in style.

a 2000 armrest will not fit in our cars, our consoles are wider and much differently shaped, so thats out of the question. now when you say console, are you meaning a larger sotrage area, or something with an armrest? if its just an armrest, i dont understand why the dealer said they couldnt do it bc you have a stick....a) it doesnt get in the way and b) even if they thought it did, its on a hinge to life up....not sure i understand that. I installed an OEM armrest in my lx coupe, and it was very easy to do, i wouldnt be concerned about "cutting" a hole, if you follow the install instructions its fool-proof. hope this helps somehow, if not try to clarify exactly what youre looking for.
