i know there's a couple peeps who have them, i don't think anyone has DIY'd it though, i believe you have to take the valve cover off and all that fun stuff, which is a pain.

I installed the cam gear its not that hard. First un hook the ignition coils and pull them out. I took my spark plugs out too but I dont think you have to. I just wanted to check them. Then unscrew the actual valve cover and pull it off. Unbolt the timing cover. Pull the timing cover off. unbolt the old gear. I made a mark on the belt and on the gear so I knew where to line the new gear up. The hardest part was getting the belt back on the gear, you really gotta put some *** into it. After that just put everthing back together. make sure to connect that sensor back below the gear if you unhooked it!!! Its pretty easy, just make sure you have the right tools and a lot of different sockets because some places are pretty tight to get to. If you search the forums for cam gear, i've got several topics I talked about the gear. I don't know if its worth it or not. I can't tell much of a difference it I retard or adavance it. Hey Jake, where do you have your gear set to?

I made a mark on the belt and on a tooth of the gear, then i put the old gear and new gear side by side and marked the new gear with the mark in the same spot, then i lined up the mark on the new gear with the mark on the belt, make sense?

I istalled the cam gear on my car and advanced it 6 degrees. I didnt feel any real HP but it did make the car run easier. The gear made dramatic changes because It didn't take so long to get through each gear. It made each gear faster to get through. I thought it helped quite a bit.
