Rep Power: 172 Timing got thrown off on cam while changing timing belt. HELP!
Cam is 90 off timing. Not sure what happened when I was putting the belt on, everything was going well, then something slipped, and the TDC marks on the cam is now at the 9 o'clock position. What do I do?

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one
Re: Timing got thrown off on cam while changing timing belt. HELP!
Rotate crank 90 degrees counterclockwise away from TDC. (so no pistons are at the top)
Move cam wherever it needs to go.
Move crank 90 degrees clockwise to align TDC mark again.
Slowly, by hand.
