DC TCS HP gain?

Hey peeps.

I did some searches and I'm stumped. I haven't found any posts regarding the horsepower gains with a DC TCS.

I have an LX and was wondering if anyone knows what sort of HP gain I could expect from the DC TCS?

I've pretty much decided that if I get an exhaust, I will get the TCS.

I can be persuaded to buy another brand if it shows a better increase in HP, but I love the sound of the TCS.

If anyone in Ottawa, Canada has one, lemme know. I'd love to check it out/go for a ride.

Cheers (eh)

Numbers I've been reading from other posts suggest only about 2 HP.....

Pretty much the only reason to buy an exhaust right now is for the sound....

As for where in Canada to get one.....

IMO, tcs is for looks and sound-nothing more. Personally, I prefer the sound of me magnaflow to anything else that I have heard.

the skunk2 and greddy are made for ex coupes only, but they can also fit on lx and dx's. i have the skunk2 on my 2002 lx coupe and my friend has a greddy on his lx. they can fit so don't worry about that.

heres the low-down on the exhaust that will clear everything up

neither exhaust will give you any noticeable gains. the skunk2 produces 5HP and the greddy produces nearly the same. so your fine there. the DC TCS puts out 2HP. the skunk2 is the loudest of the 3. its a very deep tone. the greddy is the next loudest. it too has a deep tone. the DC TCS is very quiet and you can mostly hear the engine not the exhaust although it adds a little bass. quality wise skunk2 is great. DC TCS and greddy are ok too. (sorry for being more biased towards the skunk2-i have it and love it). the DC TCS is an ugly looking exhaust, it looks kinda stock. i say go for the skunk2 if you looking for a loud noise(when the scilencer is put on its barely audible) if your looking for a quieter tone go for greddy. and well DC TCS..umm..yeh its your choice.

oh, ijsut saw your ride. looks good man. its a sedan tho and the skunk2 won't fit on the sedans. i don't know about the greddy or TCS. so be sure to clear that up. some exhaust aren't made for the sedans. watch that man.

thanks for the tips!

and the compliments

i don't want loud, though. I just want a deep-bass sounding exhaust. If the dc tcs is only going to be 2hp, then i'll definitely look for the greddy evo.

Unfortuantely, though, the only sound clip I can find of the evo is total shi t.

so many options...

keep the info coming, though.

I want to order an exhaust tomorrow before I change my mind again! hehehe

Thanks!

Hey MBow...I've bugged you before, but about headers.

Are there any dino's out for the magnaflow? I know that there's some scaping issues, but they can be fixed by mounting the muffler properly, no? I have goldlines, and its probably about 1.75", but I haven't measured.

It's also a lot less expensive than DC, Greddy, etc.

Do you find the sound/performance compare to DC/Greddy/HKS/etc?

I'm probably going to go spazz shopping tomorrow and buy a cat-back. any help is greatly appreciated!
