N2O questions, I searched
I've read as many nitrous posts as I could find, and all the ones relating to the two specific systems I'm looking at: NX and Zex. And the overall concenssus is that Zex probablly won't work due to the returnless fuel system and that NX is a better product anyway, if you know otherwise, I'd appreciate it. I emailed Zex, but haven't hear back. So on to the questions:
Firstly: Warranty — I've got a good feeling the dealership won't install an NX kit, so how does a N20 install affect your warranty and the warranty of which parts. It dosen't sound like a 50-75 shot will hurt anything so the dealership couldn't prove it to be the kit's fault, but I could be wrong.
Second: Gauges — A minor concern really. As far as I can tell the only gauges I'd need are the Rich/Lean gauge, and a bottle pressure gauge. Am I missing something?
Third: Installation — I'd rather not risk doing the installation myself. But the local shop, which mainly sells truck accessories, only sells NOS, so should I trust them to install a NX kit? If not, what sorts of run of the mill shops would be able to. How much is about the right price if I get a bottle warmer and an automatic bottle opener. Will the shop install A-pillar gauges?
Fourth: Purge kits — Worth it or not. Simple as that.
I probablly have a few more unanswered questions but I really should be going to bed. I apologize if any of these have been asked before.

im assuming you mean the honda dealership you picked up your ride from. they wont install nitrous for you, itll void a good bit of the engine. zex doesnt work.
p.s. why would you get the actual honda dealership to install aftermarket parts for you? you like getting the install price jacked up sky high?
other than getting my gearbox redone i have never let the honda dealership touch my car. i prefer mechanics i know.

first: as far as your warranty goes....ide say every internal part of the engine would be void. now if something happens because of the nitrous and the dealer doesnt know you have it on there then its a different story. just make sure you take everything off and out that has to do w/ nitrous so they cant trace it back.
second: gauges....air/fuel ratio and bottle pressure gauge are the two to have.
third: installation.....the NX kit is fairly simple to install. i have that kit and i just followed the instructions and did it myself. as for shop doing it....ide think about any performance shop should be able to help you out.
forth: purge kits....basically ide say a lot off people get them cuz it looks cool when you purge....especially at night....but its also a good thing to have to let the excess pressure out of the bottle so when you spray only nitrous is injected and not being interrupted w/ burst of air.
i have an NX kit for sale along w/ some other things....check it out and email me or PM me if ur interested..peace LINKY
