intake noise??

I know ths may sound like a dumb question but I've never had an intake before. Here goes. Every time I step on the throttleam I supposed to hear the air sucking noise...almost like a whistling but not? Also when I come off the throttle, am i supposed to hear like a really quick cutoff of air? this seems like what shuld be happening, but I just want to make sure? Where can I find some AEM soundclips? thanks. One more thing? What are common intake problems after they are installed? thanks again!

disconnect the negative (black) cable from the battery for 10 min and then hook it back up and then start the car and let it idle for 10 min. then drive, Dont touch the gas pedal at all during that time, and make sure the sensor is plugged into your intake with the rubber gournment attached.. if it is not your check engine light will come on.
