anyone with Viper 300 alarm?

i want to replace my 2k2 lx OEM alarm to the Viper 300 or any suggestion for 2k2 LX coupe model. I want to spend arond $200....(i am considering good alarm sound when set on and off, and no wires problem).

ak can only hope to improve
I heard the Viper 550 (or was it 500?) is awesome! It even has the engine start option... runs for about $200.

Very good thinking there, changing your OEM alarm.. (if you have KARR, it sucks!)

I have the 300ESP, it's a pretty good system for the price, but I don't know if it's any better than the OEM alarm. If the current shock sensor works fine, then don't bother to upgrade unless it's a really good system such as with remote start, etc.

AK ~what is KARR, what kind alarm you have?
Dave ~does it sound good on Viper 300, what is wrong with shock sensor?

reason i dont want OEM alarm is when i "set on" you heard it bee sound once, and sometime it bee like 3 time plus have to wait about 3 seconds to reset again, sounds kinda lound and annoying. I want something like when you set on and off, it bee sound only once with nice sound like most of $20 grand car.

thanks all your help !

Ive got the Viper 300ESP and it works fine. The only problem I ever had was my remote battery dying (joke) other that that its the best for the buck. It cost me 200 installed and you can upgrade it to remote start, voice and all the other cool stuff.

Yeah, mine sounds good. It has a pretty soft beep when you activate it, and 2 soft beeps when deactivated.
