backup lights

I did a search on this and they all said different stuff.

What bulbs can i put in so the backup lights are blue???

some said the 194/168s work, but i think that would be too small. isnt there an actual replacement bulb i can buy? it dosent seem that this should be so comlicated.

THE BACKUP LIGHTS ARE NOT 921!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You can use the 194/168 bulb but it will be too dim... these are the ones you want:

Click on me
they have the same base as the 194/168 bulb but get bigger at the top....... also they have a higher wattage than the 194/168 bulb, but they don't go over factory wattage

red to the rear is legal in my city/state law jurisdictions, check your local dept. of transportation for laws, but more then likely red is fine! i have red license plate lights on mine

talk to topfuel, he has some strobe tubes in his back up lights, he wired them to a switch somewhere, he can tell you what to get and where to go.
