i was wondering if having an intake will give you problems passing a smog test.
a friend of mine who has an acura tl was due for a smog check, so he took it to get
tested. the guy at the shop told him that there was no way his car was going
to pass with his aem cai. so he will be taking off his cai in order to get his car tested
and to get it to pass. is this true or does it depend on where you get your smog check at?
please help because i'm thinking of getting an aem sri for my car.

my AEM CAI is carb exempt meaning it is 50 state legal and will pass emissions, later!

u dont need to get a smog check for another 4 yrs.
and when u need it just put back the stock intake.
