hey i have a few questions for anyone with a kamikaze header. for normal street driving what does it do to performance? how much louder does it make it? i have a magnaflow which is pretty quiet, but still i dont want to announce that im coming. also, can you hear the car making any poping noises, or anything that makes it really obvious that there isnt a cat? i have lots of cops in my neighborhood who would just love to nail me for whatever they can, so thats my main concern. whatever you could tell me would be greatly appreciated. thx!

The header makes the engine sound a little deeper, but not necessarily louder. There will be a noticeable difference in performance, especially because you have to remove your cat converter. I haven't heard any popping sounds on mine. Also, keep a few other things in mind. You will have to lengthen the O2 sensors, plus you're going to have to get an O2 eliminator in order to keep the engine light from coming on. There are a few other threads out there that have been posted today about the Kamikaze header. A group buy is also in the works.

so how much am i looking at for an 02 eliminator, and how hard is it to install? you have any recomendations? thx

You can get the O2 eliminator at diabloautosports.com for $44.95. I don't know about installation because I haven't received mine yet. I just got the header installed two days ago and found out that I would need the O2 eliminator to get the engine light to go off. Good Luck!

what do you think of the performance differance? without the cat, how much do you loose in the low end/just arround town driving? thx
