I have a 96 civic that is so quiet I can't hear the engine with the radio on. Which means I need a tach.
I want something small, and not a billion dollars. If it be easy to wire, thats all the better.

a tach wont make youe engine any louder if you want engine noise get a short ram intake it sounds good

but for performance get a cai and cat-back with headers thats what i did minus the headers

no man, he means he needs a tach to know when to shift, cuz his engine is so quite that u cant hear it therefor u dont know when to shift.

Go to pep boys and buy a sunpro gauge they r the cheapest if you want something a little better go with the auto meter ones they r better. Personally i have sunpro gauges they tell the the same thing as the more expensive ones and you still have money to put into other things for your car.
