friend that has owned a performance shop since the 70's uses "patriot exhaust" as he's tried them all, including the mufflers with the cutout build in. the patriot valves are the most durable and least leaky. i made dual cutouts on my last mustang using a scrap of tubing, a scrap of steel plate, 2 '91 civic throttle bodies with the plastic parts removed, and a cable from a junk bicycle. total cost was free. lol.. outlasted the car with no issues. it was a fun project and i'm planning to do it again soon, this time with two PT cruiser throttlebodies. find a friend with a welder and bring him beer, IMO
