Lowering your car. Questions regarding Shocks.

I own a 2002 Civic Coupe. I'm looking into lowering it. I've been looking at Ground Control springs and Koni Yellow shocks, but lately to save money I've been looking at the Neuspeed Sport Springs. If I was to buy the sport kit springs and lower the car and get some bigger wheels (17"), would not upgrading the shocks too cause me to bottom out and slam the tires against the wheel wells?

When you get bigger tires you'll end up getting smaller tires. You try to keep the overall diameter the same. Use the tire chart at the top of the page. I would say you would have more of a chance bottoming out if you got lowering springs and no shocks because the shocks the come with the car suck...They're cheap pieces of Shhitttt!!! Upgrade to the koni's & you won't regret it...
