PIAA's seem to be hit or miss. Some people have good luck, some have had early failures.

My preference is Sylvaina Cool Blues. They light up the road really well and are available at many discount auto parts stores for $6 to $8. If you are interested in a blue white light that is good to see by, that's the one I would recommend.

For Sylvaina I thiink it's bulb 9003 instead of H4, but it's the same bulb.

I have probably bought all the brands you can think of. I have found that Hiper Industries are the best and brightest for the money. They seem to last longer than other brands too. You can buy them on ebay for about 18-20 shipped or from group buy for about 18 plus shipping.

I got a pair of Super Bright Hyper White bulbs from Pepboys for about $15 each and they work pretty well. They meet street regulations to.The foe HID look at night. It's a lot cheeper and I'm satisfied.

I used street glow and then APC when my low beams burned out but I had all right luck with both of them. Still like the PIAA Xtreme

I'm thinking of getting new Headlight bulbs as well, esecially since I'll prolly be clearing my headlights this week.

I was originally thinking of getting the PIAA Super Plasma GT light bulbs, but those are about $60 and people seem to have random luck with them. I just recently heard of Hiper, and I wanted to know how they compare to the PIAAs. I found them on eBay for about $20 shipped (Japanese packing). I'm thinking about buying them and save myself about $40-50. Any input is appreciated.

hmm..
hid = around 400 dollars a set - last almost long as the car (or so they say)
xenon bulbs = 60-80 dollars a set - last 6 months to a year

5 sets of xenon bulbs = 1 set of hid

you decide...

I am using the Sylvania Cool Blues as well. I paid 15 bucks for each one though. They work awesome. The light is very white and they definately light up the road better than stock and way better on the brights.

These can be found at PepBoys.
